For over 150 years, we have been growing, harvesting and distilling Australian eucalyptus oil and supplying trusted brands to households across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Distillery Operator to join our farm operations team, based in Wedderburn. This is a permanent, full-time role suited to someone who enjoys operating machinery, working outdoors and taking ownership of their work.

You'll play an important role in operating our eucalyptus oil distillery and biomass boiler, maintaining equipment, and supporting day-to-day farm operations. This position offers variety and the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills across distillery and farm operations.

What you will be doing

As a Distillery Operator, your day would include:

• Operating the biomass steam boiler and associated equipment
• Running distillery equipment used in the production of eucalyptus oil
• Operating tractors, forklifts, telehandlers and other farm machinery
• Loading and unloading vats and trailers
• Assisting with weighing, recording and preparing eucalyptus oil for transport
• Carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs on plant and equipment
• Supporting the wider farm team with general farm duties when required

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Boiler Certificate (preferred)
• A current Victorian Driver's Licence (essential)
• Experience working in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, farming or a similar outdoor operational environment
• Experience operating tractors and other heavy machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload in a rural environment
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• A reliable work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

The following licences and experience would be highly regarded but are not essential:

• Telehandler licence and operating experience
• Forklift licence
• Experience loading and unloading trailers, vats or similar equipment
• Experience working with boilers, processing plants or industrial equipment.
