Cookie policy

The short version

HirePortal sets one cookie, and it exists to count visits. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and nothing that follows you to other sites — which is why there is no consent banner to click past.

The cookie

bjs — a random identifier with no meaning outside this site, holding no name, email address or anything else about you. It lets several page views in a single visit be counted as one visit. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and each page view pushes that expiry back out.

What it is not used for

Not advertising, not profiling, not sharing with anyone. Identified crawlers are not given one at all.

Turning it off

Any browser can block or clear cookies for hireportal.us.com, and the board works exactly the same without it — visits are simply counted less accurately.

Elsewhere

Following a listing takes you to an employer's own site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. Nothing here applies once you have left hireportal.us.com.
