FPGA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Develop, code, and test VHDL logic and embedded software for functional subsystems.
• Verification & Timing: Perform simulation, verification, and timing closure activities to guarantee design performance and reliability.
• Testing & Integration: Create and maintain comprehensive test benches and integration scripts.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with electronics and system engineering teams to support hardware/software co-design.
• Quality & Traceability: Follow established coding standards, participate in peer review processes, and ensure full compliance and traceability.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex issues during hardware integration and testing phases.
• Documentation: Clear documentation of designs and active contribution to knowledge-sharing within the team.

Profile & Qualifications

• Strong experience in VHDL design, simulation, and hardware verification tools.
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, timing closure, and FPGA architectures.
• Experience with embedded software development and hardware/software co-design.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
