Role Overview A public sector IT department is seeking a motivated Junior Application Developer to support the development of an internal web application for managing legal appeals filed against administrative decisions. The system tracks complex legal workflows, including court hearings, appointment of lawyers and experts, expense notes, document generation, and court rulings across multiple judicial levels.
The developer will join an established Agile delivery team (comprising 1 Analyst and 3 Developers) to accelerate feature delivery and ensure project completion by the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into clean, scalable, and maintainable application code.
- Develop full-stack web solutions using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
- Build and refine responsive web user interfaces using modern front-end tools.
- Collaborate within a hybrid, bilingual Agile team following sprint-based delivery cycles.
- Quickly onboard both functionally and technically to adapt to existing architectural standards and codebase conventions.
- Produce clear technical documentation in French, Dutch, or English.

- Contract Duration: October 1, 2026 – January 15, 2027 (4 months, full-time; option for earlier start pending onboarding)
