Position Summary

Palladium is seeking a skilled Data Analyst (Supply Chain) to support the analysis, monitoring, and optimization of Botswana's public health supply chain. The successful candidate will transform supply chain data into actionable insights that improve forecasting, inventory management, procurement planning, distribution performance, and overall commodity security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze supply chain data from eLMIS, ERP systems, DHIS2, warehouse management systems, and other data sources.
  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key supply chain performance indicators.
  • Analyze trends in commodity consumption, stock status, inventory levels, procurement, distribution, and order fulfillment.
  • Generate analytical reports to support forecasting, supply planning, and management decision-making.
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to strengthen supply chain information systems.
  • Support forecasting, quantification, inventory optimization, and pipeline monitoring through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve the use of analytics for supply chain planning and performance management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or supply chain analytics.
  • Experience with public health supply chains and donor-funded programs is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience using eLMIS, DHIS2, ERP, QAT or warehouse management systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
