Internship - Maritime Structural Analyses

  • Participation in and contribution to vibration and strength related numerical simulation projects for the maritime industry e.g. global and local structural analyses. This includes external customer projects as well as internal support and R&D projects
  • Perform sub tasks independently supervised by your tutor such as finite element modelling, load definition and application, stress-, buckling,- and fatigue evaluation

  • Bachelor/Master student in naval architecture or comparable engineering disciplines
  • Courses in mechanics, design of maritime structures or similar would be beneficial
  • Understanding technical drawings
  • Basic skills in finite element method are favoured but not a must
  • Minimum internship duration: 10 weeks
