Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager (m/f/diverse) - Tax Reporting & Tax Accounting to join our global tax team at ContiTech. In this role, you will lead critical tax reporting processes and ensure the accurate calculation and reporting of deferred taxes. You will act as a key contact for IFRS tax topics, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliant reporting and efficiency in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the tax reporting process (Budget, Forecast, Actual) for all relevant topics in a global tax environment, including deferred tax accounting, tax expense calculations, and tax cash flows.
- Ensure accurate current and deferred tax calculations in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12) and local GAAP across the Group
- Serve as the main point of contact for IFRS tax special topics and liaise with management, certified public accountants, and auditors
- Develop and continuously improve tax reporting packages and support their implementation across the Group
- Integrate Pillar Two requirements into existing tax reporting processes and structures
- Develop and deliver targeted training programs on tax accounting and reporting topics
- Work independently and with a strong focus on quality within a small global team, maintaining close collaboration with operational business units
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Taxation, or a related field; qualification as a certified tax advisor is an advantage
- Proven professional experience in taxation within an internationally operating company or a public accounting firm
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS, local GAAP, and tax accounting
- Strong affinity for technology and digitalization, combined with advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Solid understanding of tax-related matters and their impact on globally operating companies
- Interest in leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance tax risk monitoring and reporting efficiency
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team orientation, and intercultural competence
