As an Implementation Manager at JPMorganChase within our Merchant Services team, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients as they onboard and implement payment solutions. You will coordinate complex activities across clients and internal teams, manage timelines and risks, and ensure a smooth, transparent, and high-quality implementation experience from start to finish.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client implementations as the primary point of contact throughout onboarding
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
- Build and maintain detailed implementation plans in partnership with clients and internal teams
- Communicate clear project status updates, next steps, and key decisions to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure accurate completion and submission of required sales and client information documentation
- Set expectations early and maintain transparency on scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
- Apply project management practices to drive execution, resolve issues, and remove roadblocks
- Maintain a strong controls mindset, escalating risks and issues appropriately to protect clients and the firm
- Develop product knowledge and provide guidance, enablement, and training to clients and internal partners
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 2+ years of relevant experience in client-facing and/or project management roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver on deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a focus on client experience and partnership
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail across documentation and project tracking
- Sound business judgment and a results-oriented approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting payment, financial technology, or merchant services implementations
- Project management training and/or relevant certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency in German, French, or Mandarin
