€49,100.00 - €73,700.00

Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.

Job Description:

Purpose of the Role

EGO is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst & Project Delivery Lead to strengthen its internal Business Analysis capabilities while supporting the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization.

This role combines the disciplines of Business Analysis and Project Management, acting as a key bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and the broader Power ITD organization. The successful candidate will help translate business needs into actionable delivery outcomes, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value while building sustainable internal capability within EGO.

The position plays a critical role in supporting EGO's strategy to internalize key Business Analysis activities, reduce dependency on external resources, improve knowledge retention, and enhance collaboration between local business teams and central functions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements across multiple initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze business processes, products, and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support prioritization of business requirements based on value, complexity, and strategic alignment.
• Act as the voice of the business throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring requirements remain aligned with expected outcomes.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, and operational teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Project Delivery

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of digital and business initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare project documentation, status reporting, and governance materials.
• Ensure agreed deliverables are completed within expected scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project and delivery methodologies.

Stakeholder Management

• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders across EGO.
• Act as an effective liaison between EGO and the central Business Analysis community in London.
• Facilitate alignment between local business priorities and the broader Power ITD operating model.
• Support change management and adoption activities where required.

Domain Support

Support initiatives and solutions related to:

• Digital platforms and business applications.
• Trading and energy market solutions.
• Data and analytics products.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) activities.
• Operational process improvement and business transformation programs.

Skills & Experience

Required

• Proven experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or a hybrid role.
• Strong knowledge of energy trading and flexibility Italian markets, and BESS-related processes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working across business and technology teams.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Experience supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Fluent English & Italian communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred

• Experience within energy, trading, utilities, or digital technology environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with digital platforms, data products, or analytics solutions.
• Experience working in international and matrix organizations.
