Cloud Security Engineer

Role purpose : Establish and maintain security controls across the Group's cloud environments and support secure cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud security architecture, controls and guardrails.
• Assess cloud configurations against security standards and best practices.
• Monitor cloud security posture, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Implement identity, network, workload, data and logging security controls in cloud environments.
• Support cloud security reviews for new projects and migrations.
• Work with DevOps and technology teams to remediate cloud security risks.
• Support cloud incident investigation and containment.
• Maintain cloud security standards, baselines and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage and should align with the specific role.
• Demonstrable practical experience relevant to the position.
• Strong communication, analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate in a regulated, technology-driven and multi-business environment.

Preferred / Added Advantage Certifications

• CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional
• AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• CKS – Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (advantage)
