Job Description

The role you’ll play
We’re looking for an organised, people-focused coordinator to support our talent and early careers initiatives on a fixed-term contract until October 2027.

This is a varied role where you’ll help keep recruitment activities running smoothly while coordinating programmes that introduce students, graduates and other early-career talent to opportunities across WM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end recruitment support to the Talent team, such as coordinating pre-employment checks, psychometric assessments and generating contracts.
  • Supporting candidate sourcing, CV screening and initial phone interviews.
  • Maintaining talent pools for recurring and business-critical roles.
  • Assisting with recruitment activity through SmartRecruiters.
  • Managing queries through the shared recruitment inbox and providing responsive support to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the candidate and early careers experience.
  • Supporting university, polytechnic and school engagement activities, including career expos and other talent-related events.

Qualifications

What you’ll need.
You’ll be an experienced talent coordinator who enjoys working with people and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when priorities change.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
