We’re looking for a Kerbing Labourer to join our team in Central Otago. This is hands-on, outdoor work where you’ll help deliver good work that makes a real difference in local communities.

You’ll be part of a down to earth crew that backs each other, works hard, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Day to day, you’ll support kerbing and civil construction activities across a range of projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • •Support kerbing, concrete, and general civil construction activities on site.
  • Assist with site set up, clean up, manual handling, and operating basic tools and equipment.
  • Work closely with the site crew to deliver safe, high-quality work on time.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements, especially when working around live traffic and active worksites.
  • Meet Fulton Hogan’s Drug and Alcohol policy requirements, including pre-employment, random, and for-cause testing.

  • Experience in civil construction, kerbing, concrete, roading, or other hands-on outdoor work is preferred.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from the team around you.
  • Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work in varying weather conditions and able to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and turning up ready to do good work every day.
  • A full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be able to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing.
