Eligibility
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) from an HEC-recognized institute/university. Preference will be given to candidates holding JAIBP certification.
- Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of Takaful systems.
- Understanding of Takaful regulations.
- Familiarity with policies and procedures.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of banking experience, including at least 5 years of managerial experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the management and administration of the Bank's Takaful portfolio, including the Bankers Blanket Bond (BBB) Policy.
- Leading the end-to-end management of insurance claims, reviewing interim coverages and policy endorsements, and ensuring timely policy renewals.
- Monitoring and reporting daily excess cash positions, analyzing insurance portfolio performance, and preparing management reports.
- Liaising with Takaful providers to strengthen insurance governance, resolving complex issues, and performing other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or senior management.
