About the job
As a Market Access Trainee, you’ll join our team in Porto Salvo and gain hands-on experience in how innovative medicines reach patients. You’ll support work across pricing, reimbursement and health economics, while learning how we demonstrate the value of our therapies within the Portuguese healthcare system.

Main responsibilities:
As part of the Market Access team, you will:
- Support the preparation of pricing and reimbursement activities for Portuguese health authorities.
- Contribute to health economics research and real-world evidence projects that help demonstrate the value of our treatments.
- Support the analysis of budget impact and cost-effectiveness models.
- Help prepare materials for meetings with healthcare decision-makers, payers and patient organizations.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects with colleagues across Medical, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory and other teams.
- Support the preparation and management of documentation, presentations and other Market Access materials.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Economics or a related field. You will need to be able to sign a Protocolo de Estágio with your university to take part in the programme.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with and organizing data.
- Curiosity, proactivity and a genuine interest in learning about Market Access and the healthcare industry.
- An organized and adaptable approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Good communication skills and confidence collaborating with different teams and stakeholders.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Previous internship or academic project experience related to healthcare, economics or the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
