Organization & Role
Teradyne Solution Engineering Group is looking for Field Application Engineer who will be responsible to provide application support, training customers and provide technical support on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, such as wafer and package test.

Opportunity Overview
Responsibilities

• Work with the customers to develop test solutions, test programs for customers’ products or IP on Teradyne ATE platforms.
• Provides technical expertise and value to the customers.
• Work with customers to improve test programs and optimize test time.
• Perform test correlation and data analysis, support release for production.
• Responsibly illustrate to the customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.
• Provides software/hardware development and consultation to the customer.
• Develop test solution based on customer’s specific requirement.
• Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to work out the required solutions.
• Collect information and feedback to engineering to resolve a hardware or software problem.
• Conduct training courses for the customers.

• BS or MS in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Micro-electronics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and RF electronic devices.
• Experience of test program development for semiconductor testing on ATE platforms.
• Experience and Knowledge of Teradyne ATE platforms, such as UltraFLEX+, UltraFLEX, J750, or other semiconductor ATE platforms.
• Proficient in VBA, VB, C, C++, C# or Python, and have experience in application tool development is plus.
• Strong analytical skills are required. Good knowledge of troubleshooting skills.
• Exhibit good and open communication skills, be able to work with cross-functional teams & customers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
