Become a part of our international Operations team in Montevideo, Uruguay. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as Customer Service Operator.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Register and monitor air, ocean, and road shipments in internal systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.Support customers by providing shipment status updates and coordinating responses to operational inquiries with the relevant internal departments.
- Maintain communication with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and agents to obtain shipment information and ensure the proper flow of documentation.
- Review, organize, and maintain operational and customs documentation required for import and export processes.
- Monitor shipment progress and promptly report any delays, issues, or deviations from the planned schedule.
- Support the coordination of logistics activities with operational and administrative teams to ensure smooth service execution.
- Prepare basic operational reports and update information in the company's management systems.
- Verify service orders, invoices, and supporting documentation to ensure proper administrative processing of each operation.
Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital records related to assigned operations. - Provide general support to the Operations and Customer Service teams in activities related to domestic and international freight transportation.
What you can contribute:
- Student or recent graduate in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous internship or trainee experience with a freight forwarder.
- Additional coursework or certifications related to logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics, international operations, freight forwarding, or customs-related activities.
- Documentation management skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work with operational systems and databases
