Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Quality Control
The establishment of a quality monitoring system, including the monitoring of raw materials, process technology, equipment and operator capabilities
Set up the SPC control for the key indicators or process parameters
Set up the process QC and yield data collecting and monitoring
Promote the improvement of the quality problems in process groups
Exception handling and prevention
Process consistency control and process technical document preparation control
Quality improvement, cost reduction and efficiency promotion
RCSE (rearrange/ combine/ simplify/ eliminate) principles to simplify production process and process, improve production efficiency and save labor costs.
Introduce automated equipment or production lines.
Assist team members in formulating improvement plans to promote the reduction of quality, efficiency and cost
Technical Support
Technical support for the production line, supplier and so on
Follow and know about the customer’s use of the product; organize the team to timely solve the quality and technical problems from the customer, provide a comprehensive and professional investigation report initially
Positive, active, efficient, professional services for projects and customers
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors, and provide technical support and services for other functions
Cooperate with quality engineers to improve testing methods, measurement instruments and solve customer complaints.
Provide technical support and services in conjunction with sales, quality assurance, procurement, production, planning and other departments;
Fully understand the needs of the tasks assigned by the superiors, draft plans and strive to complete them on time, summarize the reports in case of any problems, and actively achieve the goals
Education Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required. Major in Physics, Applied Physics, optics, optical communication, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- An advanced degree (master’s or Ph.D.) is an advantage
Experience & Skills
- Minimum relevant experience:
- Bachelor’s degree: 7 years
- Master’s degree: 5 years
- Ph.D.: 3 years;
- Experience in NPI or Engineering within an international manufacturing environment is required. Experience in optics, optical communications, lasers, or optoelectronics is preferred
- Familiar with mass production control process, control methods and skills, strong problem solving and analysis skill
- Familiar with common quality management tools such as SPC, FMEA, CP and DMAIC, etc.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement
- Familiar with office software and graphics software such as CAD, Solidworks
- Have certain experience in process design, development and research
- Strong customer-oriented awareness and good planning and organizational skills
- Ability to comprehensively analyze and solve problems, with innovative ideas and strong sense of teamwork
- Professional and Technical knowledge and skills.
- Proficient in English for technical and business communication;
- Speaking Chinese is a plus.
Working Conditions

- Work with advanced optical technologies and high-precision measurement equipment.
- Perform regular hands-on work with manufacturing and metrology instruments.
- Work may take place in specialized workshops, cleanrooms, and standard office environments.
- Occasional travel may be required for training or collaboration at overseas facilities
