Job Introduction

Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. For more than two decades, Public Safety has been providing highly reliable control centre solutions to emergency services organisations and customers operating critical infrastructure. Our mission is to ensure that police, fire and emergency services, as well as operators of critical infrastructure, can focus on what matters most: protecting people, systems and processes.

To ensure sustainable project success even in challenging customer environments, Public Safety relies on a specialised Task Force team. The team supports international customer projects in critical situations, creates transparency around project risks and works closely with project teams to develop recovery strategies and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Tasks

• You analyse projects in crisis and escalation situations, identify root causes and create transparency around risks, areas requiring action and priorities.
• You develop and drive effective recovery measures to bring projects back on track and ensure successful outcomes.
• You take a leading role in challenging project situations, providing project teams with direction, structure and clear priorities.
• You coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensure effective collaboration between customers, project teams and management, and align all parties towards common goals.
• You provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, progress and key success factors.
• You work closely with project managers, subject matter experts and management, supporting organisations in learning from critical situations and establishing sustainable improvements.

Key Qualifications

• Several years of experience leading complex customer projects, ideally within an IT, software or system integration environment
• Experience in Public Safety or other safety-critical environments
• Experience in challenging project environments, escalations or project recovery situations is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex situations and derive sustainable solutions
• Confident presence combined with excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
• High level of ownership, assertiveness and decision-making capability, even in demanding situations
• Business fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%)
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance process

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 61,200.00 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
