The opportunity

An opportunity for a Level 4 Warehouse Officer has recently arisen assisting the Squadron (SQN) Team Lead in all warehousing and distribution, logistics support & analysis, general administration or other miscellaneous activities.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to enquiries regarding the urgent supply of Aviation Product to meet the customers flying requirements and liaising directly third parties in their delivery
- General understanding of SQN flying, maintenance and workshop priorities
- Assist in coordinating actions with key internal / external stakeholders (SQN Maintenance Planners, OLR Workshops Managers, RIMs, LSA’s, NASPO, MAIN Warehouse)
- Allocate resources and equipment to meet operational requirements at the direction of team lead
- Allocating and adjusting stock locations
- Investigating and interrogation of ERP systems
- Accurate stocktaking management
- Training of SQN Warehouse Officer – Level 3 personnel in the processes and procedures specific to the SQN SOP’s
- Provided stores brief to SQN new starters / post-ins as required
- Maintaining and updating WFD to ensure data accuracy including the raising of helpdesk tickets
- Assist with MILIS SCA management for SQN SCA’s
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role the demonstrated skills and abilities required include the following:
Essential:
- High level of MILIS experience within a warehousing environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills across all business levels
- Solid customer relations skills and ability to manage customer expectations.
- Aviation industry experience with exposure to products, services and suppliers.
Desirable:
- The ability to learn and operate advanced ERP systems for transacting customer requirements within the business.
