We are going through an exciting period of growth and have a great opportunity for a Digital Portfolio Director – Digital Resilience & Corporate to join us
This role will shape, prioritise and deliver strategic digital investments spanning infrastructure modernisation, technology lifecycle uplift and enterprise corporate applications
You will optimise investment and delivery capacity and lead initiatives that strengthen resilience, security, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness across AusNet
The role will maximise enterprise value through strong portfolio leadership, benefits realisation, delivery execution and continuous improvement, while building capability through modern and AI-enabled ways of working
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
Lead digital infrastructure, network modernisation and lifecycle upgrades that improve resilience, security and technology currency
Oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate application uplift initiatives across enterprise platforms
Lead portfolio-level prioritisation and investment optimisation, balancing strategy, delivery capacity, risk and expected business value
Drive benefits realisation and ensure initiatives deliver tangible, measurable business outcomes
Provide delivery leadership across other Digital portfolios as required, flexing priorities, resources and expertise to support enterprise needs
Champion modern delivery practices, innovation, data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled ways of working
Build delivery capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning and development of future delivery leaders
Strengthen accountability across delivery partners, sponsors and stakeholders
Maintain strong portfolio governance, forecasting, risk management and decision support
Ensure delivery contributes to safety, privacy and cyber objectives
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
Experienced Program or Portfolio Director with a proven track record delivering complex digital portfolios over $15M, ideally in asset-intensive and regulated sectors
Demonstrated experience delivering portfolios spanning digital infrastructure modernisation and enterprise application implementation or uplift
Strong portfolio-level prioritisation, investment optimisation, budgeting, resource planning, risk management and reporting capability
Proven ability to manage vendors and delivery partners, with strong commercial discipline, cost control and accountability for outcomes
Strong executive stakeholder engagement and concise decision-support capability
Experience leading initiatives from concept through implementation and benefits realisation
Experience developing high-performing teams and future delivery leaders
Ability to lead innovation, continuous improvement and the practical adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices
