We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Consultant to join a growing team in a senior living environment. This position is ideal for someone who is dedicated to helping older adults find supportive and enriching lifestyles. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving occupancy and revenue by building strong relationships with prospective residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales and leasing process for retirement suites offering Independent Supportive Living and Assisted Living.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to guide seniors and their families in making informed living decisions.
- Respond to inquiries using a discovery-focused approach to convert interest into scheduled visits.
- Conduct personalized tours and consultations to highlight the benefits of community living.
- Implement strategic follow-up activities to progress leads and close leases.
- Maintain and update CRM systems to track sales activity and trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations to drive referrals.
- Coordinate and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
- Conduct competitive market analysis to inform sales tactics and positioning.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, regional leadership, and the local management team on occupancy and revenue goals, leadership meetings, and strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience in the retirement or senior living sector; broader experience working with older adults is also an asset.
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proven success in following and executing a structured sales process.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
