ABOUT US
With iconic brands such as Moomin Arabia, Iittala and Rörstrand, we blend rich design heritage with modern experimentation, crafting everyday objects that transform ordinary moments into something extraordinary. We celebrate generations of design, art, and culture, brought to life by designers, craftspeople, and rich storytelling.
OUR ROLE
As our creative universe expands, we are looking for a Business Manager to grow the commercial potential of our licensed IPs, such as Moomin. You will take on a central role, acting as the trusted bridge between our license holder and our organization, safeguarding brand integrity while unlocking commercial growth across markets and product categories. You'll drive the partnership forward by spotting new opportunities, building strong relationships, and turning collaboration into measurable business results.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you'll combine sales-driven thinking with strong stakeholder management to turn the partnership's potential into concrete commercial results. Working closely across teams, both internally and with our partners, you'll keep a sharp eye for opportunity while safeguarding what makes the brand special, always looking for ways to grow the business.
Identify and drive new commercial opportunities, build scalable partnership models that expand the brand's footprint, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Own, manage, and develop the strategic relationship with our partner for licensing business, acting as the single point of contact across commercial, business development, and brand-related topics.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment, buy-in, and follow-through on key initiatives.
Secure smooth licensing operations across markets worldwide, with a focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities within our partnership.
Balance brand integrity with commercial interests, ensuring our partnership decisions support long-term, sustainable business growth.
WHO YOU ARE
You act like an owner, taking full accountability for outcomes with high integrity and professionalism in every partner-facing situation. Your strong negotiation skills are matched by a collaborative, long-term partnership mindset, and your structured, detail-oriented approach makes you someone others can rely on when accuracy matters most. Commercially sharp and comfortable operating in ambiguity, you know how to balance brand integrity with business growth, and you're not afraid to identify risks and escalate proactively.
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, or equivalent relevant field.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or commercial partnership roles, ideally within consumer goods, lifestyle, retail, or similar industries.
Strong experience in licensing, brand partnerships, or IP-driven commercial collaboration is a plus, but not a requirement, this can be learned on the job.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and align both internal and external partners.
Ability to create executive-ready business updates and translate complex topics into clear, actionable next steps.
Fluent in verbal and written English, with Swedish or Finnish considered a bonus.
