Job Description Summary

As part of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) HPM Vendor Management International organization, you will support HPM projects by managing the end-to-end purchase order process, monitoring supplier invoice payments, and ensuring effective cost control. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across the EMEA region to facilitate smooth operations, maintain financial accuracy, and contribute to the successful delivery of business objectives and project outcomes.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the HPM (Healthcare Project Management) Vendor Management Leader and Vendor Management Team to support project execution across the EMEA region.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchase order process for positioning, installation, de-installation, civil works, Faraday cages, and helium services related to GE Healthcare systems.
  • Review project reserves in the eOM tool prior to PO creation and coordinate with Project Managers and Order Management Specialists to ensure cost accuracy and budget compliance.
  • Calculate and validate installation-related costs in accordance with supplier contracts, identify discrepancies, and support negotiations with suppliers when required.
  • Collaborate with Installation Managers (PMIs) to track and validate additional costs related to positioning, mechanical installation, and civil works.
  • Enter, maintain, and archive project cost data in internal systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process purchase order receipts in the ERP system for installation, de-installation, civil works, positioning, and helium-related services.
  • Monitor pending invoices, obtain required approvals from Installation Managers, and collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment disputes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare ad hoc cost tracking reports and provide visibility into project-related expenditures.
  • Support the implementation of new IT tools, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects, including participation in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Recent graduates and early-career professionals, as well as candidates with a few years of relevant professional experience, are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and cultures.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Budapest, Hungary.

The role operates under a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and from the Budapest office, while ensuring effective collaboration with regional stakeholders and teams.
