Internship Program 2027

As part of the Tetra Pak Internship Program, you'll gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects that contribute to our purpose of making food safe and available, everywhere. The position will be based in Cuautitlán - México.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will:

  • Support continuous improvement projects on the production floor.

  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Engineering teams.

  • Participate in 5S, visual management, and KPI tracking activities.

  • Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Assist in problem-solving and loss elimination initiatives.

  • Support the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.

  • Contribute to projects focused on productivity, quality, and operational performance improvements.

  • Support improvement initiatives and measure their impact on operational performance.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any Engineering discipline with an interest in continuous improvement, manufacturing, data analysis, and operational excellence.

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge:

    • Comfortable working both on the shop floor and with data analysis.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Experience with Power BI, Excel, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, or continuous improvement projects is a plus.
    • English Intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.

As a Planning & Logistics Intern, you will:

  • Support data-driven analysis and tracking of stock increases across Heating Platforms.

  • Monitor engineering template changes and help maintain up-to-date records.

  • Track suppliers lead times and identify potential risks or delays.

  • Analyze material rotation and inventory trends to support operational decisions.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to the team.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Chemical Engineer, Biotechnology Engineer, Industrial Engineer, BS in international trade

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge:

    • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Project will be a plus.
    • English Advanced – Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will:

  • Support Planning & Logistics continuous improvement initiatives using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies and tools.

  • Assist with daily and weekly Supply & Operations Execution (S&OE) activities.

  • Analyze risks and opportunities related to material availability, service levels, and inventory management.

  • Contribute to reporting, process documentation, and data analysis activities.

  • Collaborate with regional and global supply chain stakeholders.

  • Support digital transformation, automation, and process improvement projects.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, System & Data Analytics, Computer Science; Supply Chain Management; Logistics and Transportation Engineering.

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and continuous learning mindset.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. Power BI, Python, SAP, Excel VBA/Macros, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
    • English Advanced – Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.

We believe you have

  • Studies in progress in one of the specialties recommended for the position selected.
  • Graduation is expected in December 2027 or afterwards.
  • Availability to work and commute to our site 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, during the full internship program.
  • Availability for internship: January 18 to December 13, 2027.

  • Admission (November 2 – November 27)
  • Start Date January 18, 2027.
