Laboratory Technician

Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory and specialized test equipment to support customer testing.

Execute test plans and datasheets in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Evaluate test performance, analyze sample operation, and interpret test results.

Accurately record observed and calculated data, completing test reports and UL datasheets.

Examine customer samples, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions to ensure correct test execution.

Communicate with customers during test setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation and understanding of test methods and results.

Provide feedback to Engineering and Management on testing issues, laboratory procedures, and improvement opportunities.

Build, modify, or adapt test setups and equipment to meet new or changing testing requirements.

Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of laboratory equipment.

Train and support other staff on specific test methods and equipment setup.

May plan tests, direct staff during test setups, and provide professional opinions and interpretations of results.

Apply continuous improvement concepts to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall lab performance.

Higher Secondary Education required; three (3) years of related experience preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams

Proven ability to be innovative, creative, and solution-oriented.

Comfortable working in a team-focused environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Ability and interest in incorporating automation into daily testing activities.
