The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We are on the lookout for casual Youth Workers to join our growing service at our Bay of Plenty Youth Services. If you are passionate about supporting young people to build confidence, resilience and wellbeing, and would like to work with a great team, we want to hear from you.

The hours of work are not regular and are offered when they become available.

About You | Mōu

  • Hold a Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or be studying towards a recognised equivalent
  • Have experience in working with young people and an understanding of trauma-informed care
  • Have both de-escalation skills and relationship building skills
  • Hold a current full New Zealand Driver Licence
  • Hold a current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one
  • Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
