DB Global Technology, Deutsche Bank's technology center in Central and Eastern Europe, opened its Bucharest office in January 2014 and is continuously expanding. The team comprises enthusiastic professionals working in an international environment, dedicated to learning new technologies and fundamentally changing how Deutsche Bank operates.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Data & Analytics, Reporting, and Cloud Data Platforms. You can communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and drive architecture decisions in a complex enterprise environment.

You have experience designing enterprise reporting and analytical platforms and are motivated to contribute to the evolution of OneMIS, strategic Management Information System built on OneDP and Google Cloud technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and design data, software, or technology solutions by studying information needs; collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs
• Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics
• Architect cloud-native data and reporting solutions leveraging Google Cloud technologies and modern analytics platforms
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and reporting teams to define roadmaps, standards, and best practices
• Support migration from legacy reporting platforms to strategic solutions and contribute to platform modernization initiatives
• Provide technical leadership, solution guidance, and mentoring to delivery teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work with global teams across different regions and time zones
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to bridge business and technology discussions
• Experience leading architecture discussions and influencing technical direction
• Strong ownership and delivery focus

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or similar
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Reporting, Analytics, or Data Platform solutions
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Technical Leadership roles
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale reporting and analytical platforms
• Expert knowledge of data modelling (dimensional and relational)
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Platforms, Data Modelling, Data Governance, Metadata Management, KPI & Data Product Design
• Cloud Architecture: Google Cloud Platform (preferred), BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Orchestration, Cloud-Native Analytics Services
• Reporting & Analytics: Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense (experience with at least one), Self-Service Analytics, Dashboarding, Data Marts
• Governance & Security: RBAC, Entitlements, Data Security, Auditability, Compliance Controls

Nice to Have:

• Banking and Financial Services experience
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics and conversational reporting
• Experience with cloud migration and legacy platform decommissioning programs
