What makes you remarkable?
Report to the Site HSSE Manager
Oversee project construction safety, security, health, and environment during the construction and commissioning phases
Exercise good judgment and the ability to extract relevant HSSE policies and procedures required for site construction works
Meet the qualifications, experience, and competency required by local regulatory agencies to act as the project HSSE representative during project execution
Establish an effective HSSE system in accordance with legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood, and Client)
Ensure that all construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed in and comply with all aspects of the Company Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures, and Client requirements
Ensure site personnel are qualified and competent for their tasks and understand their HSSE responsibilities
Develop procedures, processes, and forms for the permit to work system for all phases of project execution
Deliver training to interested parties to ensure understanding of the permit to work system
Ensure the quality and effectiveness of the permit to work system through regular PTW audits
Bachelor's degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour
Minimum of 8 years of substantial experience in an HSSE role in Live Plant, Greenfield, and Turnaround/Revamp work for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or similar types of plants
Extensive skill and experience in applying worksite HSSE plans regarding HSSE work practices and other HSSE procedures and standards requirements for the worksite
Comprehensive knowledge of Project Monthly and Weekly Construction Report content, with an understanding of the need for timely, concise, and accurate reporting of HSSE leading and lagging indicators
Strong HSSE awareness and commitment, including skills and knowledge in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems
Fair to good interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Good knowledge of Thai Law and Legislation related to HSSE
Strong team leadership skills in technical, interpersonal, and communication areas
