Preschool Teacher and Infant Toddler Caregiver

Bring Your Experience Somewhere It Can Make a Difference

You already know that working with young children is about much more than lesson plans.

It’s helping a toddler feel safe enough to explore. Turning an ordinary morning into an opportunity to learn. Celebrating new words, new friendships, and new independence. And being someone families trust with the person who matters most to them.

At Kamaʻāina Kids, we’re looking for experienced Preschool Teachers and Infant & Toddler Caregivers who are ready to bring their skills, creativity, and care to our team.

Miliani Area, $19-25/hr

$500 New Hire Bonus • Full-Time & Sub Opportunities

Make Every Day Count

Young children learn through everything they do—and you’ll help make those everyday moments meaningful.

Depending on your classroom, your day might include sensory play with toddlers, reading a favorite book for the tenth time, creating an art project, heading outside to explore, helping children work through big emotions, or watching a preschooler finally master something they’ve been practicing for weeks.

As part of our early childhood team, you’ll:

  • Create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel known and supported
  • Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
  • Encourage curiosity, independence, confidence, and communication
  • Incorporate art, music, movement, stories, sensory experiences, and outdoor play
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Partner with fellow educators to create a positive classroom community
  • Recognize each child as an individual and celebrate their growth along the way

Your Experience Should Take You Somewhere

Whether you love being in the classroom or have your sights set on leadership, we want this to be a place where you can keep growing.

Kamaʻāina Kids supports educators with:

  • Paid professional development and training
  • Company-paid Child Development Associate (CDA) certification
  • College tuition assistance
  • Opportunities to advance into Lead Teacher and leadership positions
  • Support from experienced early childhood professionals

Bring what you already know. We’ll help you keep building on it.
