This CE Program Manager is a solution-oriented designer and provider of short-term curricular offerings that address the business and community needs for trained and certificate-eligible employees. This position is focused on developing non-credit programs and courses in business, information technology, management and service. Emphasis is on needs assessment and marketing as well as curricular development. Responsible for identifying instructors, program delivery and evaluation, and staffing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three years experience working in business, IT and/or education.
• Technical knowledge in the areas of business, information technology, management and service.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and retain a talented pool of part-time instructors.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing curriculum preferred.

Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary $62,900.00 - $78,700.00/Year Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop curriculum, administer and schedule continuing education training programs for appropriate occupational fields and industries and subject areas as assigned. This should be done by working closely with the Sales and Operations teams. Partner with sales staff to create customized noncredit training programs for local business and industry. When necessary, go on sales calls with a Business Solutions Consultant.
  • Responsible for recruitment, selection and management of Continuing Education instructors. Responsible for securing and managing Continuing Education instructors to make sure goals are being met. Including working with team members to devise new, innovative approaches to finding and retaining a diverse pool of high quality instructors.
  • Responsible for negotiating and documenting contracts and working with the EICC Business Office to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Responsible for needs assessments, program analysis/selection, analysis of trends and research and development of new and innovative programs in field of expertise.
  • Utilize LERN tools, benchmarks, and formulas to market program offerings, determine pricing, evaluate current offerings including enrollment trends and cancellation rates, and develop new courses/programs.
  • Monitor and analyze budget revenue projections, program expenses, maintain appropriate operating margins and other benchmarks in support of CE Department Strategic Plans.
  • Must maintain a commitment to providing quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for vendor relationship, oversight, and management for vendors such as online class providers, book vendors, etc.
  • Maintain accuracy of data collection and coding to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
