This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

A family in Wausau, WI, is looking for a compassionate, dependable part-time caregiver to provide in-home support for their teenage child with special needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is patient, caring, and dependable, and who genuinely enjoys connecting with others. The right person will help create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment while supporting the individual with their daily routines and activities.

Pay:

• $17.66/hourly

Schedule:

• Thursday thru Saturday and every other Sunday

• Part-Time (hours to be set between the Parent and Caregiver)

Tasks:

• Transfers

• Meal prep/Feeding

• Personal Cares

• Mobility

• ADL’s (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.)

• Assist with medications, when needed

• Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity

Qualifications:

• Reliable Transportation

• Prior experience working with individuals with physical disabilities is desired; however not required

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.

• Must pass background check.
