About the Role
UKG is seeking a Lead Compliance Analyst to support the execution and evolution of our global licensing and payments compliance programs. This role will manage U.S. Money Transmitter License (MTL) activities and support Money Service Business (MSB) expansion into non-U.S. markets, beginning with Canada.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting operational risk and compliance activities, and enabling strategic growth initiatives, including international expansion and M&A integration.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate an evolving regulatory environment while partnering across Legal, Finance, Product, Audit, and Compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Licensing & Compliance Management
• Manage the day-to-day execution of UKG's Money Transmitter License (MTL) program, including renewals, filings, examinations, reporting obligations, and ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of U.S. and non-U.S. MSB licensing programs, initially focused on Canada and expanding to additional jurisdictions as UKG grows.
• Monitor and assess regulatory developments impacting licensed activities and partner with Legal and external advisors to evaluate compliance obligations and business impacts.
• Maintain licensing records, evidence repositories, compliance calendars, and documentation necessary to support regulatory, governance, and business requirements.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and processes that enable compliance with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate communications and information requests from regulators, licensing authorities, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Participate and manage UKG insurance renewal process
• Support required regulatory reporting and filings across applicable jurisdictions.
Compliance Assurance, Risk & Regulatory Oversight
• Support implementation and maintenance of compliance and operational risk frameworks for regulated payments and licensing activities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure controls, procedures, and governance processes are documented, executed, and operating effectively.
• Support compliance and licensing due diligence activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain evidence demonstrating compliance with licensing, regulatory, and operational risk requirements.
• Coordinate and support internal audits, external assessments, regulatory examinations, and other assurance activities.
• Track findings, issues, and remediation activities and work with business partners to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop reporting and metrics that provide visibility into regulatory compliance, operational risk, and program performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous compliance, audit readiness, and effective risk management.
Collaboration & Program Operations
• Serve as a key liaison among Compliance, Legal, Finance, Product, Operations, Internal Audit, and external consultants.
• Track program milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables and provide reporting to leadership as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and consistency across licensing and compliance programs.
• Support broader Enterprise Risk and Compliance initiatives as business needs evolve.
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, licensing, payments, financial services, risk management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with money transmitter licensing, payment services regulation, licensing governance, or operational risk management frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits, examinations, or regulatory reviews.
• Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across legal, compliance, finance, and operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting compliance programs in regulated industries preferred.
• Experience with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of FFIEC Call Reporting and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance reporting preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $147,050. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
