Senior Business Process Manager

This is a 6 - month contract with our client in the Banking sector

We are looking for a Senior Business Process Manager to drive operational excellence and lead process transformation initiatives. In this role, you will partner with senior stakeholders to analyze end-to-end operating models, implement advanced BPM and automation solutions, and optimize business performance.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy & Consultation: Engage with senior business leaders to prioritize process initiatives, define target operating models, and map cross-functional value chains.
• Initiative Execution: Scope, plan, and deliver process transformation projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetites.
• Process Engineering: Conduct As-Is/To-Be analysis, design optimization workflows, and build business cases with clear ROI and benefit realization metrics.
• Technology & Automation: Collaborate with data and enterprise architects to implement BPMS, RPA, and data analytics tools for process automation and performance tracking.
• Change Management: Develop change strategies and communication plans to mitigate cross-organizational impacts and drive solution adoption.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: NQF Level 7 Degree or Advanced Diploma (Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management preferred).
• Experience:
• 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Business Process Management or Process Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of managerial or team leadership experience driving process improvement engagements.
• Certifications (Preferred): Lean / Six Sigma, CBPP, or Business Analysis certifications.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency in BPM/BPMS tools, process mapping, RPA integration, and process analytics frameworks.
