To ensure internal coherence in strategic initiatives, making sure they are better aligned and coordinated across the segment and Exco's; intragroup positioning which involves communicating segment vision and priorities effectively, with a clear articulation of the value accretion to group.

Are You Someone Who Can:

• Identify synergies across the business and enablement pillars (ecosystems) Integrate information-share across business pillars.
• Work across business units to distil and articulate business transformation objectives.
• Communicate RMB/C&I contribution to the group vision.
• Catalyze teams and stakeholders by ensuring the development and implementation of the business transformation plan and creation of an inclusive culture for employees and drive strategic relationships with relevant peers to enable optimization of the business value chain.
• Monitor progress via defined success metrics using insights and knowledge gained from high level reports to influence direction of the business to ensure organization performance against long-term strategy and make necessary adjustments.
• Support the development of long-term organizational strategy by conducting abstract, conceptual, and comparative analysis of high-level reports for strategic decision-making purposes.
• Align departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy.
• Conduct research and analyze operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders and assess market trends and competitors to identify threats and opportunities which can be presented in the format of findings, projections, and recommended actions.
• Plan, implement and manage proposed recommendations related to strategic initiatives/deliverables/ projects and monitor reporting on strategic initiatives/projects.
• Support and guide senior executive decision-making processes.
• Align, integrate, and innovate area of accountability to enable the creation of integrated, specialized solutions and create a sustainable competitive advantage for business.
• Execute relevant business initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.
• Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organizational knowledge improvement Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging conditions affecting industry and/or business through forecasting and analysis across First Rand.
• Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide of advice to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of local and global trends.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You have:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with 10+ years' experience in complex strategic, transformation, operational, consulting, project management, or business enablement initiatives.
• Proven programme and stakeholder management experience, demonstrating the ability to coordinate across multiple business units, executives, and delivery teams to drive outcome
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capability, with a track record of identifying opportunities, improving execution, and delivering measurable business impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear executive-level presentations, papers, and recommendations.
