Senior Chemical Engineer

Join our team and contribute to exciting projects in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. In this role, you will be responsible for the process engineering design and implementation of process plants – from concept through to successful commissioning.
You will work in interdisciplinary project teams and act as a key technical contact for both internal stakeholders and clients.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Plan and execute process engineering activities across all project phases
• Take ownership of process design and coordinate key stakeholders (clients, suppliers, internal teams)
• Perform or lead engineering activities from concept design through commissioning and, where applicable, qualification
• Analyze and solve complex technical challenges
• Manage interfaces with plant engineering and other disciplines
• Support project management activities (e.g. proposals, cost estimation, reporting)

Show your expertise

• Degree (BSc/MSc) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or process industry, including knowledge of GMP and relevant standards
• Several years of professional experience in engineering, consulting, or project environments preferred
• Fluency in German and good command of English
• Strong analytical skills, high level of initiative, and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus
• Ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented way, even under challenging conditions
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
