Operation Maintenance - Foreman, Belt Maintenance C#3

Supervise day-by-day mill maintenance related mechanical activities in the Belt areas and conduct daily safety inspections in order to ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work are planned, organized, actuated, controlled properly, safely, and in a timely manner in accordance to company procedures and safety policies.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Prepare and review daily work schedule (DWS) for subordinates in order to arrange the order of work and prioritize jobs based on requests and unscheduled workload.
- Perform 5-minute daily safety meeting with subordinates in order to ensure that all employees understand necessary safety procedures (safety gear, housekeeping) for daily work activities.
- Perform daily meetings with subordinates in regard to planning any unscheduled work and review backlog schedule weekly in order to determine which jobs can further be prioritized and assigned immediately and help prevent/minimize production delays and/or idle time.
- Check operating equipment daily (daily inspection) in order to identify any possible symptoms towards breakage and schedule necessary preventative maintenance in efforts to make sure that all equipment is working properly and safely.
- Attend daily planning meeting in order to assist in planning daily activities and provide field update to superior.
- Assist in the preparation of shutdown work schedule, review and monitor condition of spare parts in collaboration with warehouse, planning, and operations personnel order to make sure that shutdown schedule does not interfere production schedule and ensure that all parts are readily available at all times.
- Perform equipment analysis for critical equipment that is identified as a bottleneck in order to determine and conduct necessary equipment modification to eliminate/prevent future bottlenecks and unscheduled equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and review daily and weekly maintenance schedule in order to prioritize the availability of equipment and visually monitor the condition of equipment.
- Supervise subordinates in the implementation of maintenance activities according to work standards in order to ensure that they are working properly and safely and to minimize possible downtime and maximize productivity.
- Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for new work procedures or equipment utilization during in tool meeting in order to provide necessary recommendation towards improving JSA.
- Prepare Application Part List (APL) for various equipment in order to better prepare parts needed for maintenance work and assist in the preparation of the equipment.
- Assist in the preparation annual manpower schedule, training schedule, and leave schedule in order to manage proper manpower for maintenance work and avoid lack of manpower.
- Prepare shift manpower schedule in order to determine and arrange number of shifts needed to complete a job.
- Prepare daily safety accountability report in order to be submitted and reported monthly to Department Head.
- Recommend and delegate subordinates to various training programs in order to help improve their knowledge and practical skills.
Minimum Education and Experience
- STM degree with at least 10 years of working experience in mechanical maintenance.
