Mine Underground Foreman, DMLZ Panel Repair

Manage and direct the DMLZ and PB4 crew repair activity and equipment in footprint production to achieve safe and efficient of underground mining operation goals. To provide leadership to shift crews to achieve daily shift plans and underground mining operation goals.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

1. Responsible to maintain safety and health/hygiene in underground area.
2. Responsible to instruct crew supervisor to use materials with proper care and attention to minimize or eliminate damages and/or wasting.
3. Responsible to inspect working areas to identify unsafe acts/conditions, report and control working environment.
4. Responsible to implement shift lineout for shift crew to achieve daily key performance indicators and shift goals.
5. Responsible to inspect and monitor all working practices and techniques to ensure safe, accurate and correct procedures are implemented for all areas.
6. Responsible to read, comprehend and comply with monthly goals in order to motivate crew members to achieve targets.
7. Monitor manpower/equipment as required to achieve shift goals for all areas.
8. Listen and obtain feedback on problems and issues that impact on the morale of crew members for all areas.
9. Apply CLA discipline, absenteeism and other procedures in a fair and just manner to maintain control of crew members for all areas.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mining Engineering with at least 2 years' experience in Underground Operations.
