Head of Licensing

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute Pepco's licensing strategy.
  • Own and drive Pepco's licensing agenda across all product categories and markets.
  • Build a licensing roadmap aligned with customer trends, target groups and business priorities.
  • Identify new licensing opportunities and future growth areas.
  • Build relationships with licensors, agents and brand owners.
  • Lead negotiations and secure new licensing partnerships.
  • Manage licensing investments, royalties and commercial performance.
  • Evaluate business cases and monitor ROI.
  • Drive profitable growth through licensing programs.
  • Coordinate licensing agreements with Legal teams and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and approval processes.
  • Manage licensing governance, risks and royalty budgets.
  • Secure and maximize licensor-funded marketing support and co-funded activations
  • Partner with Design and Category Management teams to implement licensing strategies.
  • Support product development and approval processes.
  • Ensure successful execution of licensed programs.
  • Monitor performance of licensed brands and recommend future portfolio direction.
  • Evaluate trends and customer insights to optimize the licensing portfolio.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver impactful in-store and digital licensing campaigns.
  • Build effective collaboration between Product, Marketing, Legal, Sourcing and Operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of licensing processes.
  • Build, coach and develop a high-performing team.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in Licensing, Brand Partnerships, Category Management, Commercial Management or Marketing within Retail, Fashion, FMCG or Consumer Products industries.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of the Retail, Fashion and Consumer Products market and its key trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of the licensing industry and experience in building successful brand partnerships.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Solid expertise in entertainment, character and lifestyle brands.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing principles and customer engagement strategies.
  • Proven experience in licensing management and portfolio development.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation skills with the ability to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and commercial governance.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and growing strategic partnerships.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.
  • Strategic and commercially minded leader with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable plans and deliver measurable results.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, including 2-3 days per week from our Poznań office, as well as business travel.
