JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Hawk AGE Technician is responsible for inspecting, operating, maintaining and repairing all Hawk Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE). They will ensure that all resources are available and serviceable to support the demands of the flying operation, thus ensuring delivery of serviceable aircraft to accomplish the contractual operational and flying commitments.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
· In this role the job holder will report to the following: RSAF Policies and procedures, M&CA Mandates, Direct Supervisors and the Base Maintenance Manager.
· The job holder may be required to make decisions on Fault identification and rectification as well as Maintenance scheduling & planning.
· The position holder will be responsible for ensuring that BAE Systems AGE maintenance support is delivered effectively to meet RSAF requirements
· They will be responsible for providing support to the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) to ensure delivery of serviceable ground equipment to the AMO in order to accomplish the contractual operational and flying commitments.
· They shall be responsible for maintaining a strong safety culture whilst fault finding, repairing and delivering serviceable assets to maintain the customers daily flying program.
· Provide accurate and up to date information to the AGE Supervisor to ensure the schedule is achieved, ensuring solutions to any arising issues are identified and rectified during maintenance activities.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
· A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA,
OR
· Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA.
And
· Relevant equipment specific training.
· Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Registration
