About the role
Purpose of Role Responsible for managing and operating the machinery as well as carrying out Autonomous maintenance on the machines, Quality at source and support Asset Care team on maintenance tasks
Top Accountabilities:
• Startup, Operates, shutdown and monitors the equipment performance according to the SOP
• Adheres to Environment, Health and Safety procedures and standards • Capture accurate data and update on provided reporting platforms • Maintain high standards of hygiene by keeping the equipment and surrounding areas clean
• Deliver product that meets all quality requirements and performing Quality at Source Tasks
• Run equipment in compliance with the design parameters • Ensuring quality and food safety requirement are through embedding quality and food safety culture in Ways of working.
• Responsible for the proper maintenance and safe operation of all machinery under his/her control.
• Conducts look-listen-feel inspections of the equipment and initiate work requests (Condition Based Monitoring)
Deliverable KPI:
• Number of cases produced within quality standards as per site target
• Total number of cases produced as per plan
• Machine Hygiene & surroundings 5S score>90%
• Number of cases produced in the first hour online start up and after Change over • Change Over time(SUTR) as per Change Over time
• Reduce Machine downtime as per Maturity level guidance
• 100% PM completion rate
• 100% Adherence to SIC
• Material usage Vs Plan
• Bottle breakage % Vs AOP
• Water usage Vs AOP
• Reduce number of reworks/rejection
• 100% PPE compliance
• 100% completion 5whys in a shift
• Beer Loss reduction Vs AOP
• 100% Bottle Cleanliness
Experience/skills required:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree equivalent in engineering /mechanical engineering
Certificate in appropriate Engineering discipline will be an added advantage
1 years’ experience/competence in Operations, Maintenance, Process Control and Performance Measurement in a brewery or drinks or food manufacturing environment.
