Fleet Incentives & OOS Manager
- Stellantis
- Auburn Hills, United States
- $95,000 – $130,000
The Fleet Incentives & OOS Manager is responsible for developing and executing national fleet incentive strategy and out of stock (OOS) sales programs across the commercial, government, and rental segments. This role owns the monthly incentive go-to-market process end to end, from recommendation and approval through development, field communication, and launch, ensuring programs drive profitable volume, healthy inventory movement, and dealer engagement.
The position works cross-functionally with fleet and retail sales teams, finance, marketing, forecasting, distribution, and field leadership, and serves as the fleet sales team's primary resource for incentive guidance and rapid response to emerging business needs. This is an individual contributor role today, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the function grows.
The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of incentive mechanics, automotive or fleet experience, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend national fleet incentive strategy and tactics aligned to volume, mix, and profitability objectives across commercial, government, and rental segments.
- Own the monthly go-to-market process, including incentive recommendations, approvals, program authoring, and program launch to the field through monthly go-to-market calls.
- Manage out of stock (OOS) sales programs end to end, including program structure, approvals, tracking, and compliance, partnering with sales, distribution, and finance to accelerate sales and inventory management.
- Perform competitive incentive, sales, and inventory analysis to support monthly business reviews, annual planning, and executive decision-making.
- Partner with finance to plan and manage incentive spend within budget, measure program effectiveness, and own the resulting spend and program recommendations that protect transaction quality and residual values.
- Support the fleet sales team with deal-level incentive guidance, program interpretation, and timely responses to field and senior leadership requests by pulling, analyzing, and interpreting sales and inventory data.
- Create and distribute incentive and OOS program executive summaries, field communications, and performance trackers that help leadership and field teams monitor performance and act quickly on opportunities.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, partnering with Legal, Audit, Sales Reporting, and dealers to ensure program compliance and audit readiness.
- Manage incentive program compatibility and stacking rules across national, regional, and account-level programs to protect deal quality and prevent unintended spend.
- Support the development, launch, and administration of field sales bonus programs, including program mechanics, eligibility rules, and attainment tracking, in alignment with sales leadership and Human Resources on design, approval, and payout.
- Track incentive program performance and spend against objectives, including attainment monitoring, eligibility rulings, and exception handling, leveraging reporting produced by the Sales Reporting team and serving as the decision point for program status and rulings.
- Own incentive program governance, including program rules, cancellation netting, clawback provisions, and anti-gaming controls, and support internal and external audit requests related to incentive programs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to address operational challenges, improve incentive processes, and drive profitable business growth.
