Your contributions will reinforce Micron’s established leadership in advanced memory and packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in comparing test equipment capabilities for advanced interface technologies — optical, high-speed electrical, and emerging memory applied in advanced memory and packaging products
  • Assist in defining equipment specifications and test methodologies for optical transceivers, co-packaged optics, and photonic interconnect components
  • Participate in signal integrity characterization and correlation studies for high-speed digital and optical interfaces
  • Assist with hardware validation, debug, and qualification of new test equipment, sockets, probe cards, and interface hardware
  • Contribute to development of test plans, procedures, and documentation for new equipment introduction
  • Learn and apply statistical methods, Design of Experiments (DOE), and data analysis techniques to equipment characterization
  • Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications to advance technical knowledge in test equipment, signal integrity, and optical interconnect technology.
  • Contribute to the effective rollout of emerging optical and high-speed electrical interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, test equipment, and optical interconnect technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems Integration, Process Engineering, and External Suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting technical work to teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to semiconductor devices, test methodologies, or equipment design through academic coursework or internship experience
  • Practical lab experience with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, optical test equipment, or ATE is highly valued
  • Awareness of emerging memory architectures is advantageous
