Director, ICT

NACCHO is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, ICT to lead the organisation's technology function, driving secure, reliable and innovative ICT services that enable the organisation to achieve its objectives.

About NACCHO

The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.

About the Role

​​ The Director, ICT is responsible for leading and managing NACCHO's ICT function, including strategy, cyber security, governance and service delivery. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will ensure technology systems and services meet organisational needs, are secure and reliable, and support the achievement of strategic objectives. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibility, including overseeing ICT performance, managing service providers, supporting day-to-day technology operations, leading improvement initiatives and ensuring the delivery of responsive and effective ICT services across the organisation.

Responsibilities of this role but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of NACCHO's ICT Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team on ICT, cyber security, digital innovation and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain ICT policies, procedures, standards and governance frameworks.
  • Manage NACCHO's Microsoft 365 environment and promote the effective adoption of digital technologies across the organisation.

About You

You are a collaborative and driven individual who is committed to making a meaningful impact. You will bring:

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing an ICT function within a medium-sized organisation.
  • Strong experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune and Entra ID.
  • Experience developing and implementing ICT strategies, governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security, ICT risk management and information security.
  • Experience managing ICT vendors, managed service providers and technology contracts.
  • Proven experience leading ICT projects and organisational change initiatives.
  • A valid WWVP clearance and National Police check or ability to obtain.
