Line Coach Maintenance

The Line Coach Maintenance plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functioning and efficiency of manufacturing production lines through proactive and reactive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with SUVA safety regulations and HSE standards during all technical interventions.
  • Act as the technical reference for the assigned area and provide technical leadership during complex breakdowns, without direct hierarchical responsibility for technicians.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and availability through structured troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and the implementation of sustainable corrective actions.
  • Optimize preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies, define the scope and standards for N1, N2, and N3 maintenance activities, and ensure follow-up of actions resulting from inspections and controls.
  • Coach and support technicians, transfer critical technical knowledge, and develop their technical autonomy while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training (BTS, Federal Diploma, or equivalent) in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, automation, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in industrial maintenance, with proven expertise in complex equipment and technical systems.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings and perform machine setup and adjustments.
  • Strong team player, highly regarded by colleagues, and comfortable working in a professional, international, and multilingual environment.
  • Languages: French and/or German and/or English.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA/8D), and structured problem-solving for complex technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and occasional weekends, as required.
