The role
As a Junior Engineer at Beno Technologies, you will be involved in developing and maintaining our web applications under the guidance of senior engineers. Our web applications streamline our rental services for customers, admins, and partners, and they require a delicate understanding of web performance and SEO. Your contributions will have a direct impact on sales.
Our frontend is at the heart of our online sales; we want it to be responsive and stable. Working with us entails:

• Attention to website performance, SEO, and the rendering life cycle.
• Using CMS systems to collaborate with the marketing team and content editors.
• Consuming APIs following HATEOAS principles.
• Developing backend-for-frontend micro services.
• Agentic coding — we work with AI coding agents daily, and you stay accountable for everything that ships under your name.
• Building and maintaining features in our Angular applications, for customers and for internal users.
• Turning Figma designs into responsive, accessible components that hold up on phones and desktops.
• Supporting multi-language content and right-to-left layouts.
• Taking part in code review and pairing with senior frontend engineers.

What we are looking for

• 0–2 years of professional experience, or a solid portfolio of personal, open-source or academic projects.
• Solid HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript, with some TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Angular — components, services, routing, modules or standalone — or another component framework plus the appetite to pick up Angular quickly.
• Basic RxJS: observables, common operators, and not leaking subscriptions.
• An understanding of responsive layout, cross-browser behaviour, and why a page feels slow.
• Comfortable with Git and a branch-and-pull-request workflow.
• Attention to visual detail — spacing, hover and loading states, empty and error cases.
• Willingness to write tests for the code you ship.

Nice to have

• Server-side rendering with Angular Universal, or other SSR experience.
• Practical SEO knowledge — structured data, meta handling, Core Web Vitals.
• NgRx or another state-management approach.
• Angular Material, Tailwind, or structured SCSS.
• Accessibility awareness (WCAG basics, keyboard navigation, screen readers).
• Testing tools — Jasmine, Jest, Cypress or Playwright.
• RTL layout experience, or Arabic alongside English.

As a remote-first company, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a remote environment and has good written English communication skills. If your English language skills are great, this would boost your position in the company.
We assume that candidates have the necessary hardware, fast internet, and stable power for remote work. We understand that individual needs may vary, and we will do our best to provide for additional needs on a case-by-case basis.

Practicalities

• Full-time, permanent, remote work setup.
• Your working day should follow UAE hours (GST, UTC+4).
• Reports to the Frontend Lead, with a named senior engineer responsible for your ramp-up.
