Responsibilities include:
Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes
Assist with and if required prepare project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
Conduct or contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions
If required, prepare and/or oversee the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports
Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures
Aid and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.
Compliance:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting continuous environmental performance improvement.
- Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by supporting the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in compliance with ISO 45001, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) in accordance with ISO 37001, ensuring compliance with anti-bribery policies, due diligence, and promoting a culture of integrity and transparency.
- Employees are expected to comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continual improvement. This ensures alignment with the organization's commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience a Field Engineer or similar role.
Prior experience in mining industry and/or resources industry is advantageous
Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
High level of customer focus
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Understand and apply the Quality Management System
