Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY:

This position is a part of the general maintenance group that assists in all aspects of maintaining the site equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining tooling inspections and completing monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance procedures as well as recording completion utilizing QMMS software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tooling PM's and Repair: Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly PM's
  • Help and repair all equipment throughout the facility
  • Assist with the upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Ability to interpret blueprints (mechanical and electrical) for new and existing equipment
  • Working within teams
  • Excellent communication

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems preferred
  • Experience in facility maintenance in Industrial Manufacturing preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER:

  • Work Hours/Status:
  • The 1st shift includes Monday - Thursday 5am – 3pm.
  • The 2nd shift includes Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of $3.00/hr.
  • The weekend shift includes Friday – Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr.
