What’s the opportunity?

Play a key leadership role in keeping Mungari's light vehicle fleet safe, reliable and ready to support our growing operation. This is an opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance team, influence performance and safety outcomes, and help drive continuous improvement across a fleet critical to operational success.

Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to Superintendent Mechanical Maintenance, you will:

• Lead the light vehicle maintenance team to deliver safe, high-quality maintenance outcomes every day.
• Maximise fleet availability and reliability through planned, breakdown and opportunistic maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors, auto electricians and mechanical tradespeople to achieve maintenance targets.
• Partner with planners and operational stakeholders to optimise maintenance schedules and asset performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and cost efficiency.

This role is an 8:6 roster Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

You'll bring strong leadership capability, a commitment to safety, and a passion for maintaining high-performing mobile equipment fleets in a mining environment. We're looking for someone who can build team capability, foster positive stakeholder relationships, and drive reliable maintenance outcomes

• Trade Certificate III in a relevant mechanical trade.
• Statutory Supervisor S26 qualification.
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience within mining or light vehicle fleet maintenance environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance strategies and CMMS systems such as Pronto.
• Commitment to safety, accountability, excellence and respect.
