ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a 3-year fixed-term contract on 9-day fortnight roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.
Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.
As the Senior Project Engineer – Decant Pond Project, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the successful delivery of a major dams capital project, ensuring engineering, construction and quality outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently and in line with approved standards.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
Manage and collaborate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are delivered to specification.
Provide technical support throughout construction, including constructability reviews, QA/QC activities and resolution of technical queries., assist with constructability input and onsite monitoring of design, work scope, construction sequence and impacts to estimating and scheduling.
Coordinate commissioning, documentation and handover activities to ensure assets are operationally ready and fully supported by accurate records.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Delivering projects across multiple phases, from planning and design through to execution and handover.
- Building collaborative relationships with operational teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Coordinating competing priorities while maintaining focus on safety, quality and project outcomes.
- Managing project schedules, budgets and risk activities within a complex operational environment.
- Reviewing technical information and applying sound judgement to resolve challenges and support decision-making.
- Communicating clearly and influencing outcomes through strong organisation, teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications for this position are:
- Engineering qualification within Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or earthwork related discipline
