Commercial Director

-Develop and execute the commercial strategy in line with the company’s growth objectives.

-Define market segmentation across retail, wholesale, institutional, and export markets.

-Lead market expansion into local, private-label, and export accounts.

-Define product portfolio strategy for blankets, home textiles, and seasonal lines.

-Lead local sales, export sales, key accounts, and channel management.

-Build and manage distributor, agent, and retailer networks.

-Oversee export sales contracts, pricing, commissions, and Incoterms.

-Ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production capacity.

-Develop and manage pricing strategies based on cost structure, market positioning, and competition.

-Define brand positioning and go-to-market strategy.

-Oversee marketing campaigns, exhibitions, trade fairs, and product launches.

-Monitor customer trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

-15–20 years of experience in commercial leadership roles.

-MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.

-Proven experience in senior commercial positions such as Commercial Director, Sales & Marketing Director, or Head of Commercial.

-Strong exposure to textile, blankets, home textiles, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.

-Proven track record in managing both local and export sales.

-Strong experience in international markets, export development, and distributor management.

-Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

-Strong business acumen with a clear focus on revenue growth and profitability.

-Ability to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
